Namrata Tanna is a former television journalist who switched over to the social sector to use her journalism skills for good.

Over the past 7 years, she has worked with Mumbai-based non-profits like iVolunteer and Concern India Foundation, and also co-founded Creatives Against Poverty, an initiative that pools and donates skills for social impact. Through Creatives Against Poverty, Namrata has worked with organisations across South Asia – in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

She recently launched a social enterprise – Cooked by Moms – that brings healthy, homecooked meals to workplaces, while skilling and empowering underprivileged women.

Namrata specializes in storytelling through writing, photography, and film. Her expertise lies in development communications, non-profit content, branding, and marketing, as well as creating robust CSR strategies for both non-profits and corporates.
